I believe in the transformative power of counselling to help individuals navigate life's challenges and rediscover their inner strength and resilience. Counselling is a collaborative process between a trained therapist and a client, designed to provide a safe and supportive space for exploration, growth, and healing.

What is Counselling?

Counselling is a process of self-discovery and personal growth, aimed at addressing a wide range of emotional, psychological, and relational concerns.  

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, feeling overwhelmed or stressed out by life, relationship issues, or life transitions, counselling offers a confidential and non-judgmental environment to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. 


People seek counselling for various reasons, including to gain insight and understanding, develop coping skills, improve self-esteem, confidence and relationships, and overcome obstacles that are holding them back from living a fulfilling and meaningful life.

Counselling Process

I typically begin the counselling process with an initial assessment session, where you'll have the opportunity to discuss your concerns, counselling goals, and expectations with me. 


Together, we'll create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and circumstances. Throughout the counselling process, your therapist will provide a supportive and empathetic presence, guiding you through self-exploration, reflection, and skill-building exercises.


Sessions may include a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques. I use a Person-Centred approach to counselling which is based on authenticity, empathy that you have the inherent capacity to grow through the challenges life presents to you, given the right support and conditions. 

My methods are drawn from a large toolbox of evidence-based approaches including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness and breath practices, parts work, Compassionate Inquiry and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT or “tapping”), depending on your goals and preferences. 


I will help you identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, explore underlying emotions, and develop practical strategies to address your concerns and achieve your goals.
